Orange Beach Alabama – Very Affordable!

RESTAURANT EXPERIENCES

Speaking of dinner, probably the biggest surprise was how fun the restaurants are here. We like to relax on vacation, and the restaurants here make that easy. They’re like destinations in themselves. Our three favorites were

 Tacky Jacks,

The Gulf

 LuLu’s

All three offer more than just great food (which is important, of course). They offered unique experiences that can draw you into the setting. The rooftop at Tacky Jacks in Orange Beach has great views of the water. At LuLu’s you can sit waterside and watch the boats come and go or take the kids to a sandy area to run and play while waiting on dinner. LuLu’s has a kid-friendly ropes course, too! At The Gulf, a waterfront restaurant that defies explanation, lounge areas on the beach invite diners to linger and socialize.

ADVENTURES AND ACTIVITIES

MORE HOTEL OPTIONS – ORANGE BEACH ALABAMA

Most popular beach vacation destinations offer activities beyond the beach to entertain families, and Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is right there with them. Take a Catamaran Cruise  The nearby state park has golf, ziplining, and hiking trails. The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is a great place to spend a morning. While it’s smaller than many zoos, it offers the advantage of a more intimate experience with the animals — including visiting with the baby kangaroos!

FISHING TOURS AND CHARTERS – ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA

From largemouth bass to deep sea billfish, Alabama is home to a huge variety of fishing opportunities! Like its neighbor, Gulf Shores, the excellent fishing in Orange Beach makes it a top fishing destination for anglers traveling near and far.

The fishing here is a year round sport; the weather is great, the fish are biting, and there’s no shortage of amazing fishing spots.

With several great piers and surf spots to fish, an incredible artificial reef just offshore, and one of the largest charter fleets around – visiting Orange Beach for your next fishing destination is an easy decision.

Orange Beach is on the southern tip of Alabama, neighboring Gulf Shores and the Florida state line. It’s a vacation destination for many living in both states, drawing visitors to its beautiful white sandy beaches and refreshing waters.

Those celebrating big milestones or just getting away for the weekend will without a doubt enjoy their time in Orange Beach, Alabama. And the fishing? Incredible!

With several bays to the North, and the Gulf of Mexico to the South, there’s plenty for your family to experience when it comes to your Orange Beach fishing excursion!

Anglers who prefer to stay on land or are prone to seasickness will be relieved to hear that pier fishing is very popular in Orange Beach; as is fishing from the vast shoreline.

Access to the pier makes it very easy to grab your gear, pick a spot and cast your line. Remember to be mindful of those around you on the pier or beach, as there will sometimes be a crowd which can limit your casting options. It is typically recommended to cast underhand from more crowded piers, and check your surroundings before casting off the beach.

Climbing aboard a fishing vessel and setting out for a day of trolling, bottom fishing, drift fishing, fly fishing and more is also very popular. Whether you go on your own or fish with a charter-for-hire, you’re sure to get some fish reeled in!

AFFORDABILITY

Here at GoCheepNow.com we tend to  focus on vacation value for the dollar spent, You will be pleasantly surprised by how affordable an Alabama beach vacation really is! Families have a wide selection of lodging options, from budget to high-end hotels, camping, and condo and beach house rentals. Compared to other popular beach destinations,

I would estimate a cost savings of about 30% on lodging. Add in low rates for parking ($5/day between March and September at public beaches) as well as the number of free attractions available, and the savings really add up!
